Deekeye is a fearsome resident of Southsward who, along with her husband Gawjun, leads a hedgehog tribe. She yells "Spike 'n striiiike" while running into battle, wields a mace, and first meets Bowly on a dune, spinning her weapon around him so she can test his bravery. As the young hedgehog does not even blink she instantly respects him, and he leads the group in the final battle where they are rescued from Nagru's soldiers by the timely arrival of Joseph's crew. After the vermin are defeated she assists in repairing Floret's drawbridge.
