Deadglim is a resident of Terramort and bosun aboard Darkqueen who often acts as a scout. He wields a scimitar and fire-swinger, sent out to investigate Mossflower when the corsairs arrive in the region, assists in capturing Pakatugg as well as attacking Redwall, and loses his left ear in battle against Clary's patrol. Although his death is not specifically mentioned he is presumably killed by the Flitchaye as Oak Tom tricks him and some others into entering the vicious tribe's territory.
