Dampwatch is a trident-wielding member of Marshgreen's group who lives in the Toadlands. Along with Deathcoil and Whipscale he helps to capture Martin's band, later throwing them into the Screamhole. Although his death is not specifically mentioned he is presumably eaten by Snakefish.
