Daclaw is a Captain in the Ravagers army who assists in capturing Guffy and Tassy, ripping off pieces of his clothes to use as gags. He is the mate of Raddi and, while spying on Redwall with his group, verbally expresses his wishes to eat the Abbey food. Zwilt overhears this and threatens him with death, so he does not go inside.
