Crosstooth is a wicked-looking member of Clogg's crew and considered to be a skilled fighter. He wields two daggers (one has a curved blade which he steals from a dead Crableg) and a spear, and is the first to ally himself with Badrang after Clogg is enslaved by the Tyrant. He is named a Captain thanks to his knowledge of warfare, and commands Marshank's north wall during the final battle. Upon realizing that his fellow vermin are losing he attempts to desert via the west wall, killing several of Amballa's shrews in the process. Just as he is about to slay the Queen he is distracted by a suddenly-appearing Martin, and Amballa takes the opportunity to kill the fox.
