Cludd is the spear-wielding Captain of the Guard within the Thousand Eye Army and not respected by the other soldiers. While not overly intelligent he does his best to follow Tsarmina's orders, and is responsible for capturing Coggs and Ferdy. After the failed pursuit of the freed hedgehogs he is confronted by Warthorn who is wanting revenge for his brother Mask's murder, and the two duel. Cludd is eventually killed when the otter Skipper throws him onto some double-tipped javelins that are stuck in the ground nearby.
