Clatt is a small resident of Terramort who acts as Blodge's assistant aboard Seatalon. He hands out barley meal to the oarslaves and enjoys "accidentally" spilling it, and is one of seven to stay on the ship when they arrive back at the island. He is killed by the rebelling oarslaves after they are freed by Joseph.
