Chibb is a small resident of Mossflower and hired by the CORIM to spy on the Thousand Eye Army, though initially he refuses due to his fear of Argulor. Columbine uses his love of candied chestnuts to bribe him into agreeing, and he plays a big role in the fight against Tsarmina as his warnings allow the woodlanders ample time to prepare for the Queen's attacks. Even after he collects a sizeable amount of the treat he still helps the CORIM, alerting them to the capture of Coggs and Ferdy as well as acting as a supply line for them and Gingivere. He also plays a role in saving Martin's life when the mouse Warrior is nearly slain by Tsarmina. Chibb is the only member of his species to appear in the series.
