Cavern Hole

This large room within Redwall is located between the bigger Great Hall and can be reached via a set of stairs as well as from the Cellar by a small corridor and ramp, with an archway at the entry between it and the Kitchen. It is used as a gathering place as well as breakfast and dinner, and features a stone floor, slit windows, a large takes, and candles in sconces. During the events of Mattimeo, the Redwallers are held inside this room while they are under siege by Ironbeak's flock but can access Great Hall thanks to tunnels dug by Foremole's crew. The room also serves as a meeting area in troubled times.
