Byle is a young Captain in Trunn's horde and not well respected by the other soldiers because he is not overly experienced. While walking by a window as part of a diversion he is grabbed by the wildcat warlord who uses him as a shield when some squirrels fire off arrows, and Byle is killed as a result.
