Buxton is a fat resident of Redwall and, like all moles, an expert digger. Along with Dan'l and Groaby he is chosen by Foremole to dig a tunnel so they can rescue Greypatch's oarslaves, and during an attack on the Abbey he assists in extinguishing flames at the gates.
