Burrad is the cutlass-wielding leader of a small vermin band that originates from the Northlands, claiming to have taken over the group after his father dies. He is a large bully and leads them south to Mossflower where they eventually run into Bragoon and Saro, and during the scuffle he is accidentally killed by Skrodd. The tall fox then takes the cutlass and names himself the new Chieftain.
