Brogg is originally a Captain in the Thousand Eye Army who receives a promotion to Captain of the Guard after Cludd's death. He wields Bane's sword and wears Ashleg's cloak after locating them in Mossflower, and while he is not highly intelligent he does possess some smarts. He is extremely loyal to Tsarmina, resulting in her making him the only Captain during the final parts of the battle against CORIM. At one point he challenges Martin to single combat but loses when the mouse Warrior chops his weapon in half and he is forced to head back to Kotir. After Tsarmina abandons him he is killed by a massive boulder crashing into the ancient castle.
