Bremmun is an older resident of Redwall and good friends with Vale. He appears to almost dislike Arula and Samkim, and while he does not trust Dingeye and Thura he does play a major role in allowing the two stoats to stay. When the dreaded Dryditch Fever ravages the Abbey he initially offers to travel to the Northern Mountains to retrieve the Flowers of Icetor, however Dumble and Thrugg go instead. This proves to be costly as he later becomes ill with the terrible disease and dies.
