Bisky is a young resident of Redwall who wields a sling. He is the distant descendant of Bryony, Columbine, Dandin, Gonff, and Gonff II, grandnephew of Samolus, husband of Spingo, son-in-law of Noggo and Filgo, brother-in-law of Bumbo, Gobbo, and Tingo, and father of Andio. Along with his best friend Dwink he often gets into trouble and, after discovering Columbine's journal detailing Gonff's stealing of the Great Doomwyte Idol jewels, participates in their search. The pals convince Umfry to abandon his post as a guard, resulting in all three being sentenced to clean the Cellar. While here he finds a door that takes them to underground caves, so along with some others he enters. They run into the Painted Ones tribe who capture him and take him to their five-topped oak in Mossflower, where he is cruelly tortured by Jeg. He meets Dubble and the two friends escape, but are quickly captured by the Gonfelin Thieves. This is when he first meets and falls in love with Spingo, and they work with the mice tribe to ambush the Painted Ones. After Dubble vanishes during the attack he and Spingo search for him, eventually locating the shrew at the hillside where Zaran has been excavating in hopes of collapsing the Doomwyte cavern. They help her in her quest until the earth suddenly gives in thanks to a large rock and Spingo becomes trapped. He and Dubble rush back to Redwall to gather reinforcements, however upon returning their efforts to rescue the mousemaid causes the hill to collapse even more. He becomes afflicted by the Bloodwrath as he rushes into the cavern and saves Spingo, and some seasons after Skurr's death they wed and become parents to Andio.
