Bat Mountpit

Appears In: Mossflower and Outcast of Redwall




This large mountain, located near a big waterfall between Redwall and Salamandastron on the Great South Stream (which runs underneath here) and east of the Toadlands, is home to bats who live in the various caverns and tunnels. They farm the cave ledges, fish in the underground lakes, and during the events of Outcast of Redwall most are killed while battling Swartt's horde. The ferret warlord rests at the bottom of the mountain after having been thrown off the top by Sunflash.
