This season at Redwall occurs six seasons before the Summer of the Rosebay Willowherb, and is so named because it is when Matthias's group returns with the rescued youngsters. Mordalfus is originally going to call it the Autumn of the Early Chestnut but changes his mind upon Cornflower's request. It is celebrated with a huge feast in the Orchard.
