Argulor is an ancient resident of Mossflower who relocates to the west for a season before returning to the woodlands the following season. Due to his age he has poor eyesight and is not as swift as he used to be, however he is still considered to be a dangerous predator with curved talons and a fearsome beak. He often eats Kotir soldiers who fall behind from the rest of the army, and both he and Verdauga respect each other's presence. He appears to be aware that Tsarmina secretly fears him, thus he always stays just out of range of her arrows and spears. His main objective is to catch Ashleg as he has never tasted pine marten flesh, and when he spots Ashleg's cloak he attacks. Unfortunately this is a ploy by Tsarmina and the realization hits up as he sees that he has actually killed Bane (who is wearing the deserted pine marten's cloak thanks to Tsarmina tricking him as well and locking him outside Kotir). This disappointment, coupled with the injuries he sustains from Bane's waving sword, causes Argulor's heart to finally give out and he dies in the air with a deceased Bane still in his talons. The two beasts then fall to the earth below. Argulor is considered to be a "grey character".
