Algernon is a sensible resident of Salamandastron and Lieutenant in the Long Patrol. He joins Rake on the trip to strike an alliance with the Rogue Crew Sea Otters in hopes of finally defeating Razzid, and possesses some healing knowledge as shown when he tends to wounded GUOSIM members following a vicious ambush by the corsairs.
