Alder - the common name of a genus of flowering plants called Alnus in the birch family - is the thin and lanky Abbey Friar who receives assistance from Cockleburr. He later semi-retires, is succeeded by the aforementioned hedgehog, and trains former TRAG warriors on how to cook.
