Akkla is the cruel steersbeast aboard Goreleech who serves as second-in-command. He does not appear to be overly afraid of Daskar, and in turn the stoat Captain is not as cruel towards him. Along with Bullflay and Parug he is often consulted by his leader, though more often than not Daskar is frustrated by their stupidity. He gathers the corsairs during the final battle, and he is either killed by Ranguvar or when Luke crashes the ship at Tall Rocks.
