Agarnu is the old and overweight King of Riftgard who cannot swim. He is the son of Sarengo, and father of Bladd and Kurda. Like them he is albino, with white fur and pink eyes. In his youth he travels with Sarengo and some Ratguard soldiers to Mossflower, and is the only survivor of the battle at Brockhall. During the return trip to Riftgard he loses his leg, and replaces it with a false bone leg. He hates the sea and simply looking at it makes him nauseous. He sends his two children to find the missing royal symbols of their family, Sarengo's pawring and crown, as he can't physically do it. He is tossed into the water along with his throne by rebelling slaves during the final battle, and he ends up drowning.
