Adarin is a resident of Salamandastron and member of the Long Patrol who wields the family broadsword. He is the oldest son of Feryn, father of Buckler and Clerun, father-in-law of Clarinna, and grandfather of Calla and Urfa. Like Buckler, he is not overly fond of fighting and prefers peace. Due to this, Brang considers him to be a wise councillor. He is handed the broadsword and Blademaster's Medal by his father but really has no use for them, though he does keep the two objects and eventually passes them down to his oldest son Clerun.
