Abruc is a member of Shoredog's holt who lives with them on the coast of the North East Sea. He is the husband of Marinu and father of Stugg. While out with the latter he comes across a dead Grawn and severely wounded Lonna, demanding Stugg return to the holt to get help. He later makes a new bowstring for the badger's bow and becomes close friends with him.
