This group of traveling performers - also known as the Performing Witherspyk Company - is led by Oakheart, consists of his family, and sail aboard Streamlass which also serves as their home. After he accidentally falls asleep while at the tiller, the ship runs aground and they are forced to wait for help to arrive. Not long after they meet Buckler, Diggs, and Flib who stay the night while wondering how to fix their predicament. During the dark hours they are ambushed by some Ravagers soldiers who kidnap Flib, Jiddle, and Jinty, and before Oakheart can decide on what to do they meet the GUOSIM who free the ship and mention the group should follow them to Redwall so they can all talk about the missing youngsters. Upon arriving at the Abbey they participate in wall duty, and the band later conceives the clever idea of placing large dummies on the wall to make it appear as if Redwall is protected by gigantic beasts. They participate in the final battle and, after the Ravagers are defeated, the troupe decides to permanently stay at Redwall.
