Welff is a resident of the North Shores where she lives with her family and Drunn's kin atop a cliff. She is the presumed mother of Twindle and grandmother of Trimp. After the vicious ambush by Daskar's crew she is one of the first to arrive on the scene and helps any wounded creatures. She forces some others to stop Luke from purposely drowning himself in the sea and later assists in anchoring Reynard's commandeered vessel to the shore.
