Battle of the Plateau

Occurs In: Eulalia!




This battle occurs on the Plateau between Gorath's group, Vizka's crew, and the Brownrats tribe. It starts when Gorath and Salixa, while on the Plateau, are attacked by the rat tribe but they are quickly joined by some of their friends. Vizka's crew arrives not long after and participate but it is somewhat stopped as Stringle wants to wait for word from Gruntan (he is aware his Chieftain is dead by this point), and while the two leaders are talking about their next move Stringle is spotted and killed by arrow from Osbil as revenge for killing his father Luglug. Vizka, now the sole commander of the battle, orders his corsairs to lead the Brownrats in attacking the woodlanders in two waves; he decides to remain on the ground surrounded by guards. Gorath's group put up a valiant fight but start to grow weary due to the relentless onslaught of vermin, however they are rescued by the timely arrival of a large group led by Daucus and Orkwil. Thanks to their determination, the tide turns and the vermin are defeated. Vizka flees back to Bludgullet but is challenged and killed by Gorath.
